Review of Movie: ‘The Father’ (2021)

movie-review

The father is a movie about an ageing father who is losing himself to Dementia and Alzhimer’s disease. The initial part of the movie gives an insight into the dementia plagued mind. As an audience, you will feel as if you are the one who has dementia- I found my vision blurred in an HD-movie. This gives an insight into how it feels to live with dementia.

The last scene where the father asks- ‘Who am I?’ is really the question I ask myself. It raises the question about have we really asked ourself this question- ‘Who am I?’
With this long lasting impact, I went on to search the ways to prevent dementia. The results shown on the internet are as follows:

To think about it- is it really too much to ask for!

I have not seen this movie parvathi, but the questions he asked is really we need to ask ourselves as we journey along, evolving and becoming the best version of ourselves. Its an important question and the early we ask the better as it can take a life time to answer it …. yes dementia is a serious problem and its real – i like the way you checked on the net and found ways to prevent, thanks for sharing!
